I have discovered my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic cell being the best general We have owned. Just wish it had a slide out qwerty keyboard! Anyway, it does not so ample is more than enough. A good deal of folks whine about the camera, it does suck, but it is not that crucial to me-I possess a excellent Canon SD950 camera if I want pics. I am really please with how customizable it is and every one of the issues I can perform with it. Demands charging nearly every day when utilized a fair bit. Pondering about debranding it. Rogers (Canada) keeps items rather locked down and also the greatest fw I have been ready to upgrade to is v30 (one thing like that can’t remember the exact range in the moment). Sounds like v40 has some excellent functions I am missing out on.Properly, glad I identified this forum, I hope to study a lot a lot more about what I can perform with my cell phone.

  2. I’ve had my Pre since shortly soon after launch and am glad to locate (through this forum) that I can now set a ring tone on incoming text messages and can look for by way of e-mails and such. Now is there any hope for an upcoming launch in which I can search my calendar? Would make my career very much simpler, acquiring dates of last appointments. No other complaints, except that yesterday I was in and out of Sprint assistance (not unusual). I consider I was roaming, and looked at my calendar. Everything in the calendar was a single hour earlier than what I had input. The clock was a single hour early as properly. I had been afraid to death–then, once we got back into Sprint assistance once more, almost everything was normalized. Has this happened to any person else?? Hunting forward to answers, but please don’t forget, I’m no techie and speak English in lieu of technospeak.

  3. I got one of the very first iphones and have been soooo happy with it. Since iphone 4 was out I have been thinking about upgrading, however, not with this mess which Apple created! It’s surprising they could be so stupid!

  4. For web designers, mobile web design is becoming an easy way to acquire new clients. It amazes me how few web design companies are offering this for their clients.

The Blackberry is the best gadget that i ever received as a gift from my best friend. It has nice features and the design looks very cool too.

I have to agree, I feel the perfect phone would be a mixture of the BB and the iPhone. I currently own a BB Storm and the iPhone, and prefer the landscape keyboard of the BB which is now included with the iPhone 3.0 SW update as well as cut, copy, paste, and several other options. I love the email functionality on my BB, as well as the true press screen. I’ve learned with the iPhone I touch a lot of the wrong areas, creating several typos an issue I don’t have so much on my BB. However I am right with you Serko, and my main complaint being the App Store which is not available on the Storm. Granted BB has tried to make their own App store and Crack berry assists in trying to replicate that feature but NOTHING comes close to the real experience of the App Store on the iPhone. Also I hope the iPhone opens up to other carriers because I am not a big fan of the current wireless carrier.

Really nice job. I sport a Blackberry 8330, and now the N82 as well. I’ve seen so many E71 unlocked users lately, and feel like I’m missing the party.

I totally agree with you about the app installations in Nokia. Haven’t used one in a couple of years, but it’s a pain to install them! I don’t think anyone till date matches Iphone’s simplicity when it comes to app installations.

For me a perfect device will be a hybrid between Iphone and a blackberry. I like Iphone’s browser the most and the app store ofcourse. In the blackberry, i love the background app business, copy and paste, and just the solid mail ( and corporate messenger) support!

I haven’t really played with the BB or iPhones, but I do think that Nokia is slowly but surely adding features to bring Ovi online and connecting people to their phones, people to their computers and connecting phones to their computers… I wouldn’t be surprised to see download and Mosh become a more active part in Ovi, and making it easier to use and purchase apps.

    Great vid, keep it up!

  13. Hey, Serko. Another great post! Why’s the camera so high? : )

My daily workhorse is the N95-3. I didn’t upgrade to the N95-8GB, because it does not include the video editor, which I use daily.

I also have a few other phones, including 4GB iPhone, the HTC G1, and other less powerful models. In my G1 review (posting soon, maybe this weekend) I show the differences between the Apple App Store and the Android Market. I’ve gotta say the Android market is much less annoying than the Apple App Store. So if you like the Apple Store, you’ll love the Android Market!
